recently가 오답인 이유는.... 최대한 맞는 답을 적는게 정답아닙니까? 지금 당시 시간이 우리가 모르는 상태고.... 만일 This monring이라고 하면 recently가 답이 되겠죠.
briefly, recently 답은 둘다 맞을수 있는데 recently는 특별한 경우에 맞는 답이고 breifly 어느때나 맞습니다.
monday morning 이 오늘인지... 저번주인지 모르니깐 recently는 100% 맞는 답이 될수 없습니다.

it's just saying that the postponement was on monday morning and it wouldn't last long. 'briefly postponed' sounds better than normally postponed. things are put off briefly for a few days but you don't really postpone things normally, what do you mean by 'normally' postponing meetings?

Regardless, I don't see a reason to correct this question with all honesty. Aside from "postpond", the choice "briefly" fits the criteria as a correct answer. I don't see the point of changing up the already giving question just to fit "normally" as the correct answer.

Do you really think that the three words meeting, postponed, and briefly collocate with high relative frequency? The deeper I probe this intriguing problem, the mystery gets "curiouser" & "curiouser".

토익이 이래서 싫어... 실제로 회화,독해할때는 거의 필요없거나 뜻 알아먹는데 지장없는거를 이런식으로 문제를 꼬아서낸단말야 언어인데..
are you suggesting brief should be used for shorter periods? nobody can define the length of time the word is used for. brief is brief is brief is brief. no more, no less. even if you're not happy with it, it's still better than 'normally'. if you put normally in the gap, it sounds like you normally postpone meetings, no matter what you had in mind.
you say you don't mean 'normally postponed' but just waylay a guy in the street and ask how it sounds when normally is there in the gap. you've just done what you didn't really mean. for the sentence to mean what you think it would be, it should be 'The regular/weekly Monday meetings were postponed....' and that's how you make the meetings sound like the activites you normally do on mondays.
