Once upon a time there lived fair-skinned Papa Smurf
Who liked to bask in the sun when he did not surf.
Then he got sick, and began taking colloidal silver
Administered both orally and topically for many a summer.
The change in his outward colour was gradual, hardly noticeable
That he only found out when his neighbours found him unbearable.
He had to move away from his hateful neighbours; he was turning blue.
