My my, what a sweet little poem, Katie! The rhyme`s a bit off esp. in the last line of the stanza, but you still put in some thought into this, and I thank you for the beautiful rose to complete the thought. This is a gem I shall keep! -- a fake school teacher`s comment on her poem.

흔한 Roses are red 시는 이렇게 간다고. 네가 못 들어봐서 그렇지 캐나다도 북미니까 있을 걸? 요즘은 모르지만 내가 어렸을 때 유행하던 형태는 이랬고. Roses are red/ Violets are blue/ Sugar is sweet/ And so are you. -- It`s a kiddie love poem. ... well, maybe not always, but mostly. ^,,^

But the focus of the lovely hand-printed piece ought to be the calligraphy & illustration of the rose, all showing the child-like innocence of the artist`s hand that created the art. Regardless of how much mischief & grief she might have originally planned to inflict on me, I`m fully immune to all her devices as I`ve become skillfully familiar with her skillful tactics in the spirit of Spy vs Spy.
