게티즈 버그 연설문에서 


첫번째 문장에 있는 continent 의 발음에서 t가 glottalized T (stop) 으로 발음  됬는데


이는'the glottal stop replacement requires the target /t/ to be in a syllabic-final position.'과 'the glottal stop replacement of syllabic-final /t/


is also observable before syllabic nasals.' 라는 두개의 규칙에 근거하여 틀리게 발음했다고 보여집니다.

여기서 [t]는 onset position이기때문에 glottalization 될수 없다고 봅니다.
