What a remarkable young talent Yunchan Lim is. Actually, I don't even like the use of the word 'Young'. 

He is an exceptional pianist and an exceptional artist. In my real life, I'm the artistic director of Ochestra de Paris 

and we had a pleasure of working with Yunchan in March with a music director Klaus Makela and we got to know him a little bit 

and we got to see him rehearsing and playing, and he found colors and feelings about music that one would expect to somebody 

40 years older than him. He is a real real musician. 

And this piece Tchaikovsky 'The Seasons' is so rarely played but when it is defended by an artist with such an intelligence, 

such care and belief and passion, for me that says everything about what a performer should do for the public 

and also lucky us here in this studio Medici we have chance to listen to this extraordinary artist. 

As I said, he won the Van Cliburn Competition, but he now lives in Boston, Massachusetts in United States. 

He is a Decca recording artist and he only recorded one Chopin disc for Decca, and his career, **based on what we just have seen, 

you would understand very well his career is going from strength to strength in demand 

with all the greatest orchestras and greatest conductors all around the world,**

but he still remains as a person extremely humble.
