트럼프 팬덤 MAGA들은 펜스에 대해 '가롯유다','배신자','반역자'라고 비난하곤했다.

그런데 돌연 2월10일 트럼프가 펜스는 명예로운 사람

Honorable Man이라고 했다.

그 이유는 J6 폭동 특검에 펜스가 소환되었기 떄문이다.

펜스가 자신에 대해 불리한 증언을 할까봐 아부를 하며 다독여보려는 전략이다.

과연 펜스가 어떻게 나올지 주목된다.

개인적인 소망으로는 최대한 트럼프에게 불리한 증언을 해서

트럼프를 코너로 몰았으면 하는 바램이다.

Trump’s remarks come one day after reports emerged that special counsel

Jack Smith had subpoenaed his former vice president.

Smith was appointed by Attorney General Merrick Garland in November to oversee

the Justice Department’s investigations into the former president, including his role

in the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the Capitol and his handling of classified materials.

According to CNN, the subpoena requested documents and testimony

related to Smith’s probe into the events of Jan. 6.

트럼프의 발언은 잭 스미스 특검이 전 부통령을 소환했다는 보도가 나온 지 하루 만에 나왔다.

스미스는 2021년 1월 6일 국회의사당 공격과 기밀 자료 취급에서 그의 역할을 포함하여

전직 대통령에 대한 법무부의 조사를 감독하도록 메릭 갈랜드 법무장관에 의해 11월에 임명되었습니다.

CNN에 따르면 소환장은 1월 6일 사건에 대한 스미스의 조사와 관련된 문서와 증언을 요청했다.
