팩트: red flag law는 2018년 당시 주지사이던 릭 스콧이 사인한 법안이고

드산티스가 사인한게 아님

이중 다소 생소해 보이는 레드플래그법(Red Flag Law)에 대해 소개하자면, 

본래 명칭은 ‘극단적 위험으로부터의 보호명령’(Extreme Risk Protection Order, ERPO)으로 

이미 캘리포니아(2016년)와 이번 사고가 발생한 일리노이(2019년), 뉴욕(2019년) 등 

19개 주에서 입법, 시행되고 있다. 

이 법의 골자는 법원의 심사를 통해, 총으로 자신이나 다른 사람을 다치게 할 위험성이 

높은 사람들의 총기 구입과 소지를 일시적으로 금지하는 것이다.
