ShulochShuloch, later renamed Goygoa, was a legendary Fremen place located in the deep desert of Arrakis, associated with Jacurutu. In 10219 AG, it was where the 9-year-old Leto Atreides II accepted sandtrout upon his body and began the conversion into a human-sandworm hybrid. After Leto ascended to the the title of God Emperor, what had been the desert of Shuloch was transformed into a landscape of hilly green farmland named Goygoa.   “슐로치”, 이후에 “고이고아”는 아라키스의 깊은 사막에 위치한 프레멘들에게 전설적인 장소였으며, 자쿠루투와도 연관이 있었다.


  길드력 10219년, 이 곳에서 9살의 레토 아트레이데스 2세는 그의 몸에 모래송어를 이어붙여 융합을 시도했으며, 이에 따라 그는 인간과 모래벌레가 합쳐진 존재가 되었다. 레토가 신-황제에 등극한 이후, 슐로치라고 불렸던 사막은 푸른 언덕이 끝없이 이어진 농지, “고이고아”가 되었다. 계단식 과수원에 둘러싸인 언덕 사이에는 검은 돌로 지어진 목가적 마을이 건설되었다.


  레토 치세의 마지막 해에, 시오나 아트레이데스는 평화와 안정을 제공하지만 인류가 진정 필요로 하는 것은 존재하지 않는 작은 마을들로 가득한, 레토 2세 제국의 모습을 보여주기 위해 던컨 아이다호를 이 마을로 인도했다.
