Galactic Scale 2.0
Settings
Galactic Scale 2.0 integrates all settings into the Dyson Sphere Program settings window.
Click Settings from the main menu, or from the pause menu while playing. Most of the settings are only applicable to new games however.
All settings are saved to preferences.json in the plugins/GalacticScale/config directory. You don't need to know that, as there is nothing in there at all interesting. Especially cheat mode. That's only there to assist with development, and would ruin the game if you were to accidentally turn it on by mistake, completely unintentionally.
Global Settings
Debug Log
If you have BepInEx logging enabled, this will display a whole lot of debug data
Force Rare Spawn
Development mode which removes the randomness of rare ore spawning on planets
Skip Prologue
Nobody wants to land on the starting planet twice.
Skip Tutorials
No more annoying popups. Leave this unchecked if you don't know how to play
Cheat Mode
This isn't there, ignore it
Generators
The Generator dropdown allows you to select from the available galaxy generators. Galaxy generators are essentially blueprints for how to craft a new game. Generators all have their own settings which are configurable on the right hand side of the settings window once selected.
For external generators, please see their respective documentation.
The generators that ship with Galactic Scale 2.0 are the following.
Custom JSON
This one isn't really a generator, more like a portal to awesomeness.
It will generate the galaxy based on a json file of galaxy deion +1, which is to say you can use it to save and load custom galaxies
It has the following configurable options:

Output File Name
The name of the file to create or overwrite when you click the button below.
Minify Output JSON
Tick this to prevent the full JSON from being exported, and only the things which are nonstandard.
Export JSON
We are not quite sure what this does, you can try clicking it if you want.
Sol
Our local stars, featuring a representation of our solar system by Slink
Sol Generator uses a basic generation algorithm for other stars, there will be quirks.
Accurate Stars
If you want star types that don't exist in local reality, turn this off
Start in Sol
If you would rather begin the game somewhere else, turn this off
Max Planets / System
The largest amount of planets/moons to generate per star
Min Planet Size
The smallest radius planets will have
Max Planet Size
The largest radius planets will have
Starting Planet Size
Lets you customize the size of the starting planet. Defaults to 400 for Earth
Birth Planet Si/Ti
Enable Silicon and Titanium on the starting planet
Moons are small
Force moons to be less than half the size of the planet they orbit
Force Tidal Lock
Ensure planets close to stars are tidally locked
The Sol generator implements the following themes in addition to the themes Dyson Sphere Program comes with:
Acid Greenhouse
Acid oceans and a super thick atmosphere that can form crystals
Obsidian
Black glassy rock world found close to stars
Hot Obsidian
Tiny red hot glassy rock world found close to stars
Ice Malusol
A frozen world with evil undertones and optical crystals
Infernal Giant
A Hot Gas Giant with an atmosphere of pure hydrogen
Dwarf Planet
A barren planetoid with silicon and fireice
Barren Satellite
A barren moon with titanium and stone
Galactic Scale
The default generator, it uses the vanilla star position algorithm, but allows configuration as follows:
Safe Mode
Gives a vanilla++ feel, and restricts some configuration options
Ludicrous Mode
Removes all sanity from configuration options. You can easily produce an unplayable game
Galaxy Density
How close together will stars spawn
Default StarCount
Sets the default star count. Useful when using debug mode
Star Size Multiplier
With huge planets, stars can look tiny. Default is 10x Vanilla size
Starter Planet Size
The size of the starter planet. Vanilla has 200 size planets
Starter Planet Unlock
Allow starter planet to use other habitable themes. Will make the game easier to start.
Starting Planet Si/Ti
Enable Silicon and Titanium on the starting planet
Moons Are Small
Restrict planetary satellites to maximum 1/2 planet radius
Huge Gas Giants
Allow Gas Giants to become enormous
Tidal Lock Inner Planets
Ensure planets close to stars are tidally locked
Secondary Satellites
Allow moons to have their own moons
Freq. Type K
Relative chance of a star being Type K
Freq. Type M
Relative chance of a star being Type M
Freq. Type G
Relative chance of a star being Type G
Freq. Type F
Relative chance of a star being Type F
