My name is Ikarus Cesaille and I am the CEO of Strategic Exploration and Development Corp, one of the thousands of different corporations here in EVE Online.


If you are just starting out your journey in EVE Online you may not know much about corporations. However even CCP acknowledges that joining a player corporation is one of the most important and best things a player can do in EVE. It is inside these player driven corporations where you will make friends, explore the space and write your own story. While playing EVE is possible as a solo player you are most likely going to enjoy it more by unlocking its full potential with some friends by your side.


Finding the perfect corporation for your own needs is not an easy task. Each corporation in EVE has their own way of life, culture and procedures that will shape your experiences in the game. This is where our corporatio and the EVE LinkNet community comes to your aid.


Our corporation is purely focused on connecting you with the rest of the EVE community. We seek to guide you during your first months in EVE and help you tackle the steep learning curve that most often results in solo players quitting the game before they have managed to experience its full scale. We want to make sure that you have someone to seek help from while you are figuring out what you love doing ingame. After you have the basics figured out and have found your way we will try to help to connect you with corporations whose culture and focus on content is aligned with your personal desires. 


The only requirement we have for you is a friendly and mature attitude and the ability to understand English. If for some reason you do not enjoy your time with us, there are no downsides to leaving a corporation in EVE Online and you can change or drop out from player corporations at any time. 


Our English speaking corporation

Our corporation is designed to have no impact on your gameplay unless you so choose. If you want, you can keep on playing the game just like you have been doing so far and use our corporation as a purely social aspect while you are looking for other corporations to join. There are no wars, no mandatory operations or etc. with us.


However if you want to dive deeper into EVE Online the best way is to interact with other players, which is something we highly recommend! In our corporation you may seek help from more experienced players and join different types of content to explore your options in the game, including building rank within our corporation!


You are able to experience different content types and things to do while in our corporation in PVE, PVP, mining and industry by attending the fleet operations hosted by our other community partners. This allows you to gain a sneak peak at different things to do in EVE Online before you decide to join a corporation that is focuses more on a specific type of content.


We also offer tons of services and programs that will help you get going in EVE and make the beginning of your journey easier!


How to join?

1. Click on: Strategic Exploration and Development Corp and press apply to join.

2. Wait for your invitation. This may take up to 24 hours. You will get a notification in your Notification Feed when you have been invited to join us.

3. To accept your invitation open Corporation -> Recruitment -> My Corp Applications or click on the notification on your Notification Feed and accept the invitation.
