The core objective of my initial post was to highlight the imperative need to recognise the distinct differences between Oxbridge and Ivy Leagues, UK and US universities at large, and to draw a conclusion that a valid comparison between the two cannot be constructed.

I never said that Oxbridge and the Ivy Leagues are on par, but rather that there is a lack of valid established basis to compare them in the first place. Your mind is heavily indoctrinated and imbued with the notion that Ivy Leagues are the top echelon of everything when that echelon in itself is an unfounded hierarchy with no foundation.
