As an Asian student from a disadvantaged background, I have also reflected deeply on issues of equity. As someone who faced hardship, took care of a loved one, and studied alone, I understand the value of opportunities and the importance of inclusivity in education. I do not seek admission out of entitlement. I seek it out of deep desire to learn, to contribute, and to be part of a community that values both intellectual rigor and human empathy.
Cambridge represents to me not just an institution of excellence, but also a place where someone like me—an outsider turned passionate learner—can find a true academic home. 대학은 어디나왔어??
사립보딩은 미국 북동부에서 다녔고, 대학은 한국인 존나 적은곳 나옴. 사립보딩이랑 사립이랑 나는 별차이 없는거 같음. 어차피 왠만한 사립이면 매년 아이비리그나 아이비 플러스급 보낼꺼고, 사립보딩은 그 수가 개많은거. 아이비리그 pipeline있는데, 그 pipeline ratio 높은곳 무조건 가야함. 물론 다른 학교에서도 아이비급 가는경우도 많지만, 상위 pipeline학교들은 그냥 중간만해도 아이비 프리패스임. 생각해보면 존나 단순한게, 아이비 수십명씩 보내는 고등학교랑 아이비 1~2명씩 보내는 학교랑 비교하면 전자가 압도적으로 admission officer들이 더 선호하는 곳임. 그러니까 그 ratio가 왠만하면 안깨지는거고, 그래서 학교 타입보다는 각 학교 진학실적 비교해서 가는게 낫다
