The choice has always been yours, Doctor. Most of the time we just don't have time to revisit the consequences of our choices.

But before you make a choice, you have to be clear about the consequences.

--Do see him as an infected patient? Or do you see him as one of the former leaders of the Reunion movement?

Is he a victim or a perpetrator, do you see him as a microcosm of the evil that runs through this land?

Is he to be seen as an integral part of some kind of violent rule, or is he to be seen as the sad result of a terrible logic?

In fact, these identities are simply indivisible. But we are incapable of accommodating them all.

Whether to leave him to fend for himself in the core city, or to treat him seriously as the cause of infected violence in the name of contemporary society, or to treat him as a seriously ill person for further humane treatment ......

It is up to you to make a rational judgment and decide whether he should live or die, or to confront your own perceptions and issue a single judgment that is beyond the scope of our authority.

He has ultimately disappeared from this earth, and the only one who can decide his fate, fortunately or unfortunately, is you.

Mercy, or justice, or fairness, or outrage, or if you want all four, or if your decision has nothing to do with those words at all, I don't care.

I won't judge your choices in any way. And even if I would, I wouldn't say so.
