⚡+ The Ukrainian former governor of Kherson region, Gennadiy Laguta, has committed suicide.


Laguta had been in charge of the region since October 2021 and was dismissed in June 2022, when Ukraine controlled only 3% of the region.


Laguta was suspected of handing the region over to Russian troops, which led to his dismissal and then suicide.
