Because April 5 was the arbor day which was also authorized as a national holiday, they could have a chance to get released from the cramped everyday routine and go on a spring picnic to mountains or riversides where the flowers were in full bloom. Despite that the holiday was meant for planting trees, we would forget about the well-intentioned purposes. Instead, all our attention was focused on going out to mountains and watersides on that sunny spring day.
