The Day Passed Away
I sleep upon the morning dew
And sang of the world's ancient wisdom
It will remain as we died in moaning
Hollow inside, yet my shell is thick as a kingdom
Some things never change by themselves
Why did I leave the abyss without sinking?
The shards of my soul are stung by a vengeful leaf
I flee from my flaws, weary of thinking
The respite of heavenly sighs
Angels weep with their surplus wings
The golden sky merges with the wise
I bow before them after the hymns
Time travel is vain for those who shake the worlds
Our time is too fleeting to master the words
Gather close to shield the child from fears
The mighty carpenter of thirty years
His mission is destined from the sky
By a pious sin, he shall be tied
