Sensor 3366:
  • No visible sensor smoothing at all DPI Steps.
  • It have 2 frames smoothing all DPI Steps.
  • According to CPate, 2 frames = ~0.4ms smoothing.
Sensor 3360:
  • No visible sensor smoothing under 2000 DPI, but was noticeable above 2000 DPI.
  • Of 400 - 2000 DPI steps have 2 frames smoothing.
  • Above 2100 DPI steps have 32 frames smoothing.
  • Well my guess would be that 3360 and 3366 are virtually identical below 2000 DPI.
  • I suppose Logitech has the ability (or can directly ask Pixart) to remove it completely in an SROM update.
  • Doesn't really have native steps, they are all equally good, but stay under 2000 DPI Steps.
  • According to CPate, 2 frames = 0.4ms and 32 frames = 6.4ms smoothing.
Sensor 3389:
  • 3389ย is Razer exclusive version ofย 3360ย Public version ofย 3366ย Logitech exclusive sensor.
  • No visible sensor smoothing at 1800 DPI or less. (Probably 2 frames smoothing like in 3360 and 3366)
  • Of 400 - 1800 DPI steps have 2 frames smoothing.
  • Above 1900 DPI steps have 32 frames smoothing.
  • Why would you add even more smoothing at high DPI than the public version 3360. (Absolutely intentional)
  • The first level of smoothing is toggled right above 1800 DPI.
  • According to CPate, 2 frames = 0.4ms and 32 frames = 6.4ms smoothing.
Sensor Mercury:
  • No visible sensor smoothing at all DPI Steps.
  • It is better than the AM010.
  • Actually I was informed by Francois Morier that on the silicone level it is the worlds most advanced optical sensor, despite its price point.
Sensor AM010:
  • No visible sensor smoothing under 2000 DPI. (G302 and G402)
  • Of 400 - 2000 DPI steps have 2 frames smoothing. (G302 and G402)
  • Above 2080 DPI steps have 4 frames smoothing. (G302 and G402)
  • G100s have 4 frames smoothing all DPI steps.
  • According to CPate, 2 frames = 0.4ms smoothing and 4 frames = 0.8ms smoothing.
Sensor 3988/3989:
  • Have dynamic framerate depending on speed? If yes, you'll also have dynamic smoothing inย microseconds, due to same number ofย framesย of smoothing applied to different framerates.
  • Of 400 - 1550 DPI steps have 20 to 5 frames smoothing. (4ms to 1ms smoothing)
  • Of 1600 - 3150 DPI steps have 40 to 15 frames smoothing. (8ms to 3ms smoothing)
  • Above 3200 DPI steps have 80 to 20 frames smoothing. (16ms to 4ms smoothing)
  • According to CPate, 20 frames = 4ms smoothing.
Sensor 3310:
  • It have 20 frames smoothing all DPI Steps.
  • According to CPate, 20 frames = 4ms smoothing.
