"데이트폭력 잡자"..경찰, 범죄코드 신설·112 이력 관리

(서울=뉴스1) 차윤주 기자 = 경찰이 지난달 강남에서 발생한 데이트폭력 살인사건을 계기로 연인간 데이트폭력 사건 대응 수위를 높이기로 했다.

경찰청은 15일 데이트폭력과 관련해 범죄 분류코드를 신설하고, 112신고 이력을 별도 관리하는 내용 등을 담은 사건 처리 개선대책을 마련했다고 밝혔다.

이에 따라 앞으로 데이트폭력 신고가 들어오면 현장 출동 경찰이 참고할 수 있도록 112시스템에 신고 이력이 뜨게 된다.

경찰 관계자는 "출동하는 경찰관이 관련 신고 이력을 파악해 경각심을 가질 수 있다"며 "여성 청소년 담당 경찰, 형사 등이 같이 출동해 초동 현장 대처가 더 세밀해질 수 있다"고 말했다.

이는 상습적인 데이트폭력을 가정폭력과 같은 수위로 관리하겠다는 의미가 담겨있다. 경찰은 상습적이고 지속적인 가정폭력에 대응하기 위해 2013년부터 가정폭력 죄종 코드를 새로 만들어 112출동 시 적용하고 있다.

기존에 데이트폭력은 폭행·성폭력 등 일반 범죄 유형으로 분류돼




이런 코드가 있는데 수사나 정보 관련해서 이런 코드가 있을 것 같은데 그 코드가 수사에 쓰일 수도 있다는 생각이 든다.


경찰은 만든 지 얼마 안 됐다는데 다른 수사기관에서는 내부적으로 쓰던 것이 있을 지도 모른다.


예를 들어 "내 나이가 21살인데 대학 상담좀 부탁드려요."


" 187번째 단어 용례가 어떻게 되죠?"


이렇게 말하면 21번, 187번 코드 관련 상담을 원한다는 거다.


그밖에 반은 국, 학교 이름은 지부, 은행이름은 회사명 등으로 쓴다거나 할 수도 있다.


국가 전화번호 코드나 외교관 차번호 할당 국가 번호 등도 이용할 수 있다.


물론 근거 없는 내 상상이다.
