I have already created a feature request for this and it will be up for discussion. However, we may not be able to guarantee that this feature will be available soon. For any updates, please visit our release notes and blogs.

For now, you may also have a look at the counters solution for Firestore.

Firestore is still on Beta, so you may expect that new features and updates will still be released for this product.
