The Beast 짐승

(Greek: Θηρίον, Thērion) may refer to one of two beasts described in the Book of Revelation.

'폭로의 책'에 기록된 두 짐승들 중 하나를 가리킬 수 있다.

The first beast comes "out of the sea"

첫번째 짐승은 바다로부터 나온다

and is given (be+pp 수동태) authority and power by the dragon.

용으로부터 파워와 권위를 받았다

This first beast is initially mentioned in Revelation 11:7 as coming out of the abyss.

이 첫짐승은 심연에서 올라오는 것으로 요한계시록 11장 7절에서 처음으로 언급된다

 

His appearance is described in detail in Revelation 13:1-10, and some of the mystery behind his appearance is revealed in Revelation 17:7-18.
