[신간📰] 미국 신?간: 전미도서상 수상 시집 <Punks>

영어선생이 무지 추천해서 읽어봄

시인은 이 사람

현재 뉴저지 럿거스 대학 영문학과 교수로 재직

미국에서도 상대적으로 최근에 뜬 시인이니 번역은 없다

해석이나 분석도 사실 별로 없다

찾기도 귀찮으니 그냥 내 감상만 이야기하자면,

제목 그대로 반골 기질을 예술적이고 묘하게도 고풍적으로 표현해낸 시들의 모음 같음

비트문학인가...카운터컬쳐의 향기가 느껴짐

분명 말하는 내용은 싸가지가 없는데

그 패배주의인지 반골기질인지 모르겠는 애티튜드를 미적 비전으로 승화시키는거 같기도 하고

전미도서상 이름값은 충분히 하는듯? 좀이 아니라 많이 친다

개인적으로 인상깊었던 시는 <Gift> 인데

번역하기 엿같이 난해해서 원문 던져놓고 런함
