historian은 역사학자가 아닌 역사가란 의미이며 역사학자는 academic historians라고 함

그런데 국내에서 역사학 박사학위 받은 인간들을 포함해서 historian과 academic historians를 구분없이 "역사학자"라고 부르면서 비학술적인 주장과 학술적인 주장의경계를 일부러 모호하게 하더라

사전 찾아보니 역사학자를 그냥 Historian 이라고 쓰고, 관련 대학 석박사는 academic을 붙이고 아니면 amature를 붙이나 본데?

그리고 이른바 프로들이 분석을 중시하고 서술을 포기해서 그 분야에는 아마추만 남았다라는 말이지, 서술이 학술적이지 않다는 말이 아닌거 같아. 예를 들자면 '사라예보 사건을 외교적으로 처리하지 못했기 때문에 1차 세계대전이 발발했다.' 까지 쓰는게 서술이고, 거기에 덧붙여서 외교적으로 어떤 노력을 기울였고 어떻게 실패했는지를 분석하면 그게 분석이고. 사실을 서술했다고 그게 비학문적이라는 너의 분석은 틀린 것 같다.
