Why this book is different

이 책이 다른 이유

The purpose of this book is to offer you a living truth that has never before been publicly offered on this planet. The reason is that when we give a spiritual teaching, we normally adapt it to the level of consciousness of the intended recipients. The reasoning behind this approach should be clear when you look at the religious landscape on this planet. Many people ask the fundamental questions of life, but they limit the kind of answers they are willing to receive. And in most cases people use an existing belief system – be it religious or scientific in origin – as their basis for restricting their willingness to receive living answers. Because of this human tendency, we of the Ascended Host – we who serve as the spiritual teachers for the evolutions of Earth – are practical realists. When we give a spiritual teaching, we are not seeking to give people the absolute and infallible truth about God. We are carefully targeting the teaching to a specific group of people, and we are seeking to give them a teaching that they can accept with their current level of consciousness but which can still take them beyond that level of consciousness.

It is always our hope that people will use any given teaching to rise above their current level of consciousness—that they will multiply their talents. When people do rise, we can then give them a more sophisticated understanding. When you look at the history of religion on this planet, you will see that so far we have been severely limited by people’s willingness to look beyond their existing beliefs and their willingness to change their lives in order to receive a higher truth. Fortunately, this has begun to change, and it has been determined by our councils that planet Earth has reached a critical mass. There are now enough people in embodiment who are open to the Living Truth that we have decided to release the full truth about religion on this planet.

In all past teachings we have always left certain questions unaddressed, and this gave certain people the opportunity to hide behind surface appearances. People could study a teaching – and understand it intellectually – without actually looking in the mirror and applying it to themselves. That is why you have seen so many religious people who did not live their beliefs, who did not walk their talk. That is why there has so far been room for so much hypocrisy in religion. That is why so many religions have followed the same pattern of becoming rigid and dogmatic, offering ready-made answers while denying people the key of knowledge (Luke 11:52) that can give them living answers.

The teachings I offer you in this book will go far beyond this approach and will not leave room for anyone to hide behind intellectual interpretations. The basic dynamic of life on Earth will be exposed so that only those who are completely blind will fail to see the beam in their own eyes. Truth is a two-edged sword, and one edge is always pointing toward yourself, ready to cut through the illusions you hold about yourself and God. Only those who are willing to let go of such illusions, will find this book liberating. Those who cling to their illusions, will find that their egos will be working overtime on trying to come up with excuses for rejecting this book.
