In the beginning, you might not get an immediate response to your request. The answer might come sometime later. Depending on the nature of the request, it might take hours, days or even weeks. The essential key to getting clear and accurate answers is to realize that your Christ self is not your personal psychic hotline. Your Christ self and genuine spiritual teachers will not violate your free will or make choices for you. The role of a spiritual teacher is to help you gain a true understanding of a situation so that you have the best possible foundation for making right choices with your conscious mind. Therefore, a true spiritual teacher will not tell you what to do or how to do it. So, do not ask, “What should I do about this situation?” Instead, ask, “What is a better way to look at this situation; what is a deeper understanding of the situation?”
