사이드암이 판매 예정이라고 했던 6월이 다가오는데, 생각보다 물량이 부족할 수 있다고 함.


사이드암은 공장에서 downtime에 생산을 하고 있기 때문에 많은 물량이 생산이 되기는 어려움.

물량을 충분히 공급 하려면 공장에서 메인 제품으로 생산해야하는데, 그렇게 된다면 이전 예상 가격($200)보다 오를 수 있음.



NC doesn't get economies of scale like Die Stamping. It doesn't matter how much quantity I order, the machine time per case is the same. So this case was never designed for mass production, or else I wouldn't have chosen CNC process.

I think if we mfg too many cases, factory will ask us to pay for *regular machine time cost instead of *excess machine time cost, which *might increase price to $280-$400 case.

Machine Time Cost and Labor cost will increase, so the CNC process for T1 will increase in cost over time. So this case might go up in price faster than other case for this reason as well.
