The 12GB of S24 Ultra can neither beat the 8GB of iPhone nor the 16GB of other brands. Samsung has the smallest background memory, and many apps need to be reloaded when they are opened for the second time. In other words, Samsung uses the weakest hardware of Android and matches it with the weakest software optimization, which is garbage on top of garbage. Although the iPhone has a small memory, the software optimization makes up for the hardware deficiency to a certain extent.
The media tested the time it took to open 23 apps in a row on nine flagship phones in two rounds. As expected, the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra was far behind all the flagships.
