Here is a quick tutorial on how I got this setup.

Download reshade from https://github.com/kevinlekiller/reshade-steam-proton and get it set up by following the instructions on the Github page.

Since the we will need the addon version of reshade and the github repo will only install the normal version we will need to replace the normal dxgi.dll or d3d9.dll files. To get these files I installed the game on my main windows PC and downloaded the reshade addon version and once installed replaced the .dll file on my steam deck with the one that was installed on my PC you can get reshade from https://reshade.me

Download the Auto HDR Addon from https://github.com/MajorPainTheCactus/AutoHDR-ReShade

In the .Zip file you will see AutoHDR.fx, AutoHDR32.addon, and AutoHDR64.addon put these files into \.local\share\reshade\ReShade_shaders\Merged\Shaders

Open the game inside (Big picture/Gamescope) and edit the controller layout bind a Key to the Home key this will be used to open the reshade menu.

Launch the game you will now see the Reshade banner on the top of the screen confirming it is loading once finished press the newly binded key to open up the reshade menu.

In the home tab click the search bar and search for HDR. AutoHDR should show up click the box to enable the .FX file

Lastly go to the Add-ons tab and go to the bottom where it says AutoHDR64 or AutoHDR32 click the arrow next to the check mark then check off Enable HDR.

After that everything should be enabled and working you will need to edit the Brightness, Contrast and Gama settings within game or within Reshade by default the blacks are crushed.
