레딧에 저 미친놈이 스팀덱에 위에 이미지 모델 M.2 NVMe ssd 꽂을수있는 어댑터 달아버린다음에 8tb ssd를 포함해서 ssd랑 micro sd 등등..
싹 꼴아박아서 만든거였음.
8tb ssd 가격이 궁금해서 아마존에 찾아봤더니 모델마다 다른데 못해도 140만원은 하더라....;;;; ㄷㄷㄷ
저거 발열 심해서 의미없는 ㅄ짓임
USB대역폭이 NVME대역폭 못따라가서 속도는 포기하노

Not great numbers objectively, but relatively it shows the external SSD is doing pretty well compared to the internal SSD - and especially the microSD cards. The fact the external microSD reader is so much faster than the internal may be the fact these cards are rated UHS-II where the Deck microSD reader is only UHS-I.
답글 Those numbers seem too low. My guess is you are limited by /dev/urandom... My i7-8750H can do only about 40MB/s ... Try it with /dev/zero (a bit questionable as the drive might "cheat" for big sequences of zeroes) or first dump /dev/urandom to a reasonably large file in tmpfs...
그에대한 작성자 답 Yeah, zeroes will get crunched by the SSD usually, which is why I did urandom. I’ll do an actual performance test at some point, but I didn’t want to switch to desktop mode last night!
