In order for me to play genshin impact using the steam deck, I have to reboot and run the device with windows. It is very cumbersome to go through such a process every time to play genshin impact. Searching for a way to play the game in a linux environment, I found that it can be run on SteamOS using several launchers. However, these methods were fundamentally bypassing the anti-cheat. As a result of looking at the reviews of other users, there have been no cases of being banned from mihoyo by playing through this method yet. However, the amount invested in my account is too large to trust that and try the anti-cheat bypass, so I am reluctant. Is it okay to play using tools like lutris or anime launcher until your company provides official support? As I have spent thousands of dollars on my account, I have no intention of trying hacks or other dishonest methods. Unfortunately, Steam Deck is not yet supported to run Genshin Impact - however, we will make sure to forward your feedback to our developers for consideration to our future updates!
As for launchers, we strongly recommend you not to use any sort of third-party softwares/apps, in order to avoid the risk from having the account banned/suspended. Please try to use alternative options that do not involve the usage of said third-party applications instead.
