I agree with you 100% and do not want my hot water touching any plastic or harmful metals. For this reason I've designed the Argos so that water only touches food grade stainless steel. In fact almost everything on the machine is made out of 304 or 316 stainless steel with the exception of the circuit board enclosure. Hope this helps.
