구글이 FACT 모델을 사용한 AI Choreographer인공지능으로 춤을 학습했다.

(FACT: Full Attention Crossmodal Transformer)

FACT 모델은 오디오 트랜스포머와 움직임 트랜스포머의 결과값을 합쳐서 교차감각(Crossmodal) 트랜스포머에 입력하고 세 트랜스포머를 동시에 학습하는 방식으로 이뤄졌다.

학습에는 음악 장르에 따른 춤을 여러대의 카메라로 찍어놓은 AIST 데이터셋을 3D 모델로 변환한 AIST++ 데이터셋을 사용하였다.

인공지능은 데이터셋에 포함된 브레이크, 팝, 락, 왁(Waack), 미들 힙합, LA힙합, 하우스, 크럼프(Krump), 스트릿 재즈, 발렛재즈와 같이 다양한 장르의 춤을 학습했다.

이 인공지능은 기존의 방식보다 좋은 일반화 성능을 보였다.

연구진은 음악에 맞춰 춤추는 이 인공지능을 통해 사람이 도움받을 수 있을 것으로 전했다.
