누가복음 16:19 ¶ 어떤 부유한 남자 한 명이 있었는데 자주색 의복과 고운 아마포로 옷 입고 매일 호화롭게 지냈느니라.
Luke 16:19 ¶ There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day:
누가복음 16:20 그리고 나사로란 이름으로 불리는 어떤 거지 한 명이 있었는데 헌데들이 가득한 채로 부유한 남자의 대문에 눕혀져 있었더라.
Luke 16:20 And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores,
누가복음 16:21 그리고 부유한 남자의 식탁에서 떨어지는 부스러기들로 배가 채워지기를 갈망하였느니라. 이뿐만 아니라 개들이 와서 그의 헌데들을 핥았느니라.
Luke 16:21 And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man’s table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores.
누가복음 16:22 그런데 이러한 일이 있었으니, 그 거지가 죽어서 천사들에 의하여 아브라함의 품속으로 옮겨졌더라. 그 부유한 사람도 죽어서 장사되었느니라.
Luke 16:22 And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham’s bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried;
누가복음 16:23 그런데 지옥에서 심한 고통들 중에 있는 그가 자신의 두 눈을 들어 멀리 떨어져 있는 아브라함과 그의 품에 있는 나사로를 보는도다.
Luke 16:23 And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.
누가복음 16:24 그런즉 그가 소리치며 말하기를, ‘아버지 아브라함이여, 제게 자비를 베푸시고 나사로를 보내 주시어 그로 하여금 그의 손가락 끝을 물속에 담근 다음 제 혀를 식히게 하소서. 이는 제가 이 불꽃 가운데서 심한 고통을 당하고 있기 때문이니이다.’ 하였느니라.
Luke 16:24 And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.
누가복음 16:25 그러나 아브라함이 이같이 말하였느니라. ‘아들아, 너는 너의 일생 동안 너에게 좋은 것들을 받았고, 나사로도 그와 같이 악한 것들을 받았음을 기억하라. 그러나 이제 그는 위로받고 너는 심히 고통받느니라.
Luke 16:25 But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented.
누가복음 16:26 그리고 이 모든 것 외에도 우리와 너희 사이에는 거대한 구덩이 하나가 고정되어 있느니라. 그렇기에 여기에서 너희에게로 넘어가고 싶은 자들도 갈 수 없느니라. 또한 거기에서 오고 싶어도 저들이 우리에게 넘어올 수 없느니라.’
Luke 16:26 And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence.
누가복음 16:27 그때 그가 이같이 말하였느니라. ‘그러므로 제가 당신께 간구하노니, 아버지여, 당신께서 그를 제 아버지의 집으로 보내 주소서.
Luke 16:27 Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father’s house:
누가복음 16:28 이는 제게 다섯 형제가 있기 때문이니, 그가 그들에게 증언하여 그들도 이 심한 고통의 장소에 오지 않게 하소서.’
Luke 16:28 For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment.
누가복음 16:29 아브라함이 그에게 말하기를, ‘그들에게는 모세와 예언자들이 있느니라. 너의 형제들로 하여금 그들의 말을 듣게 하라.’ 하였느니라.
Luke 16:29 Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.
누가복음 16:30 그러자 그가 말하기를, ‘아버지 아브라함이여, 아니옵니다. 오히려 누군가 죽은 자들로부터 그들에게 간다면 그들이 회개하리이다.’ 하였느니라.
Luke 16:30 And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent.
누가복음 16:31 이에 아브라함이 그에게 말하기를, ‘만일 그들이 모세와 예언자들의 말을 듣지 않는다면, 비록 누군가가 죽은 자들로부터 살아났다 해도 그들은 또한 설득되지 아니할 것이라.’ 하였느니라.”
Luke 16:31 And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.
