Israeli keeps trying to make claims they got Khamenei.

1) If he is alive then they hope he makes and responds to their baiting, so they can get a chance of targeting him again

2) For some odd reason I think they overvalue Khamenei, and think he is death will lead to some major uprising. Which is doubtful as it didn't happen when the last Khamenei died and his successor has already been picked

Whether dead or alive the best strategy for Iran is to do nothing. He is a religious figurehead end of the day. In the modern era countries are systems, and individuals are just cogs in the machine, though some cogs might bigger then others.
