Le Sénégal rejoint le projet de Station de recherche lunaire internationale 

✍+ Un accord en ce sens a été signé le 5 septembre entre l’Agence sénégalaise d’études spatiales (ASES) et l'Administration spatiale nationale chinoise. 

Cette collaboration permettra à Dakar de "bénéficier d’un important transfert de technologie et de développer les compétences de ses ressources humaines dans ce domaine", a fait valoir l'ASES dans un communiqué.

De plus, le projet "renforcera la position du Sénégal dans le concert des nations spatiales", souligne l'agence.

La Station de recherche lunaire internationale est un projet russo-chinois acté en 2022. Il prévoit la création d'un laboratoire sur la Lune pour mener des expériences et tester diverses technologies. Les parties misent, entre autres, sur l'exploitation sans équipage de la station lunaire dans la perspective d'assurer une future présence humaine sur la Lune.

Senegal joins the International Lunar Research Station project

✍+ An agreement to this effect was signed on September 5 between the Senegalese Agency for Space Studies (ASES) and the Chinese National Space Administration.

This collaboration will allow Dakar to "benefit from a significant transfer of technology and develop the skills of its human resources in this field", ASES said in a press release.

In addition, the project "will strengthen Senegal's position in the concert of space nations", the agency emphasizes.

The International Lunar Research Station is a Russian-Chinese project signed in 2022. It provides for the creation of a laboratory on the Moon to conduct experiments and test various technologies. The parties are banking, among other things, on the unmanned operation of the lunar station with a view to ensuring a future human presence on the Moon.
