사실 이미 2,3일전 즈음에 파이낸셜 타임스를 비롯한 언론에서 관련 기사가 나왔고, 몇일전엔 인도가 그리고 전날에 일본이 중국 위안화로 지불해 통과했다는 속보가 있었지만, 이란 정부측에서 관련 발표나 보도가 안나와서 긴가민가 했는데, 이란 의회(이슬람 협의회, 혹은 간단하게 마즐리스) 국가외교안보위원회 소속 위원 알라딘 보루제르디 의원이 국영 언론 방송에서 현행 조치 시행에 대해서 공식적으로 인정했다고. 보루제르디 의원이 이러한 조치를 "47년 만에 해협을 통치하는 새로운 체제를 수립했다"고 평했음.
