you should water garden mints once every 1-2 days in summer and once every 2-4 days in autumn, fall and spring. For potted plants(indoor and outdoor), the schedule is to water 1-2 times a day

you'll probably need to water sage once or twice per week. The soil should be kept about as moist as a wrung-out sponge. Once the plant has developed a good root system, you can decrease watering to every week or two. Be careful not to overwater!
