대충 13000명 이상이 응답한 화울의 설문조사에 따르면 56%가 일주일에 1회 이상 보드게임이나 RPG, 카드게임을 즐긴다는 듯.


WorldOfDarkness.com, which they're planning to turn into a big immersive user portal for WoD game players of all kinds.

(Starting with the LARPers, because audience.) Analogous to StarWars.com and D&D Beyond. Open beta this summer.

Starwars.com이나 D&D Beyond에 대응할만한 포탈 사이트로 Worldofdarkness.com을 만들 거라는 듯. 올 여름부터 임시 개장.


Storytellers Vault, a DM's Guild-like UGC program where people can publish fiction and game supplements—

starting with all four prior editions of Vampire: the Masquerade. (50% author/publisher split of money; partnership with DriveThru.)

Storytellers Vault라고 던전 마스터스 길드 마냥 UGC(User-Generated-Contents)를 만들어서 소설이나 게임 서플을 직접 만들어

팔 수 있게 할 거라고 함. 일단 올 여름에 거머리 기존 판본 갖고 시작하고, 수익은 저자하고 반반 나눈다는 듯. Drivethrurpg와 제휴.


There will be V5 playtests at Gen Con and other upcoming events.

젠콘과 다른 이벤트에서 거머리 5판 테스트 예정. 


Vampire: Fifth Edition will come out as one core rulebook—meant to imply cross-compatibility with other 5E games

and two standalone setting books: Camarilla and Anarch. The setting books will be deluxe, photo-illustrated,

and useful as a setting bible for WoD stuff all around.

뱀파이어 5판은 하나의 코어 룰북(다른 5판 게임들과의 호환성 떡밥인 듯) + 카마릴라 / 아나크 세팅북이 스탠드 얼론으로 들어감.

세팅북들은 사진도 나오고 뭐 하여간 설정도 빵빵하게 실어주고 그런다는 거 같음.


The new Vampire continuity splits off with "Beckett's Jyhad Diary."

새 뱀파이어의 연속성은 "베켓의 지하드 일기"를 기준으로 갈라진다는 듯. 저게 그 V20으로 나온다던 책이던가?


System focused on species-specific traits. V5 tracks "hunger" rather than a blood pool.

새 시스템은 각 종족별 고유의 트레잇에 초점을 맞추고, V5는 블러드 풀 대신 "굶주림"을 사용할 예정

엘더들은 동양에서의 부름을 느끼고 게헨나의 전쟁에서 싸우기 위해 숨겨진 사원들로 소집되어 갔고, 사바트는 얘들을 추적중임.

근데 별로 중요하게 다루지는 않을 거라는 걸 보니 그냥 얘들은 이래서 안 나와라는 핑계거리로 보임.

두번째 종교재판 : 인간들의 정보조직이 킨드레드의 본성을 알아채고 기술을 사용해 얘들을 추적하기 시작함.

Anarchs have been exiled from the Camarilla, along with Caitiff and thin-bloods. A new emphasis on the masquerade.

City hierarchies are even more drastic. In the face of these challenges, Kindred society goes dark —

vampire cities become more isolated, and there's a slow reversion to Dark Ages traditions.

아나크는 카마릴라에 의해 카이티프나 씬-블러드들과 함께 추방됨. 마스커레이드가 새롭게 강조되고, 각 도시의 사회구조는 더욱 극단화됨.

이런 변화로 킨드레드 사회는 어두워져서 각 도시의 뱀파이어들은 더욱 고립되고, 암흑시대의 전통이 서서히 회귀하기 시작함.

댕댕이 : 가이아는 열병으로 죽어감. 임페르기움이 다시 돌아옴. 댕댕이가 사람 잡는다!

거머리들이 현대 기술이나 인터넷을 쓰는 게 불편한 이유는 "세계관의 충돌" 때문이라고 하고 법뻔뻔은 3번째로 나올 예정이라는 듯.

현대에 맞게 좀 더 진보시킬 분위기인데... 또한 'AI가 우리 세계만큼 빠르게 진보했다면 누가 테크노크라시를 굴릴까?'라니 아무래도 테키는....

크로니클스 오브 다크니스는 계속 될 건데, 오닉스 패스 꺼니 걔들한테 물어보래.
