Well, there's no complicated rules or anything, you just have to engage the players with the story.

yeah, the fact that the GM is encouraged to a) directly intervene in the world if need be via the ryuujin and b) create good stories, not 'win', make it a good choice for noobgm

my only other GMing experience is a pathfinder campaign that died quickly; it was an online game with 10 players and most of them had never even played an RPG before
