루아흐(Ruach)
루아흐 = 영(Spirit)
바람, 숨, 호흡 = 보이지 않지만 실제로 존재하는 힘
하나님의 영 (Spirit of God)
하나님이 사람에게 불어넣은 생명의 호흡(breath of life),
그리고 영(spirit)
창세기 1장
2 그런데 그 땅은 형체가 없고 공허하였으며 어둠이 깊음의 표면 위에 있었더라. 그리고 하나님의 영께서 물들의 표면 위에 움직이셨더라.
And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
창세기 2장
7 그리고 주 하나님께서 토양의 진토로 사람을 형성하셨으며, 생명의 호흡을 그의 콧구멍 속에 불어넣으셨더라. 그러자 사람이 하나의 살아 있는 혼이 되었더라.
And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
전도서 12장
7 그때에 진토는 전에 있던 대로 땅으로 되돌아가며 영은 그것을 주신 하나님께로 되돌아가리라.
Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it.
