According to information published by the United States Department of Defense (DoD) on December 20, 2021, Nammo Defense Systems Inc., Mesa, Arizona, was awarded a $498,092,926 firm-fixed-price contract for the full-rate production of M72 Light Assault Weapon variants and components for shoulder-launched munitions training systems.

Nammo’s production of the FFE variants – known as the M72 Anti-Armor (A8) and M72 Anti-Structure Munition (A10) in U.S. military service will be fielded with U.S. Army in 2022.

2021년 12월 20일 미 국방부의 발표에 의하면 Nammo 사와 미 육군을 위한 M72 LAW의 탄약 및 훈련체계에 대한 약 5억 달러 규모의 고정가격 전율생산 계약을 체결했다고 함

Nammo가 생산하는 FFE형은 대장갑탄인 A8형과 대구조물탄인 A10형이며 2022년에 배치될 것이라고 함(2022년부터 배치 시작된다는 소리인 듯)

FFE 버전은 무게가 기존 3.5kg에서 5.8kg으로 증가한 대신 소금물 카운터메스를 이용해 좁은 공산에서도 발사가 용이하고 여러 편의사항이 개선됐음 미 육군은 AT4 CSRS만 도입하는 줄 알았는데 M72 FFE도 도입하네
