what you call Direct impingement or rather what you call internal piston nowadays but being able to relocate the recoil system up here um with dual recoil springs the recoil system itself kind of resembles the later ar-18 dual recoil spring system as it operates and because of that you're able to remove the back end and be able to use collapsing stocks or folding stocks if you would like
