Boeing signs deal with U.S. army to build 184 AH-64E Apache helicopters

Boeing Co said on Friday it had signed a contract with the U.S. army and international customers, including Australia, to build 184 AH-64E Apache attack helicopters.

우크라이나 전쟁이 한창인 와중에 전차가 무용하니 공헬이 무용하니 할때 미군은 아파치 184대 생산하고 그중 100기정도는 미군에 추가함, 한달도 안된 소식임

맨패즈에 취약하니 뭐니 하고있을때 미국은 레이저로 IR 미사일들 시커 태워버릴 생각을 예전부터 하고 있었고 이미 장착까지 완료해놓음


일본이 공헬 다 버린다고 요즘 시끄러운데 네덜란드는 오래전에 전차 다 버렸고 이게 글로벌 전차무용론의 근거가 되지는 못함. 일본은 버릴만해서 버리는거임


신형 공격헬기를 위한 장거리 센서퓨전 Fire & Forget 미사일인 JAGM은 순항중이고 SPIKE-NLOS의 미국 버전인 사거리 32km+ 장거리 미사일 사업은 따로 진행중임



공격헬기가 비행기랑 같이 묶이는 경향이 있고 어느정도는 일리가 있는 말인데 공격헬기는 장점과 한계를 종합해보면 스테로이드 먹인 경전차라고 생각하는게 어떤면에서는 더 정확함
