디브니치는 본인의 이 발언이 자신의 MMA 경력을 끝장낼 수 있다고 말하기까지 해서, 정말 각오하고 말한 듯(러시아 MMA 관련 행사나 회의, 대회에 무슬림들 진짜 많다고 함.)

미네예프는 정교회의 성지에 모스크를 짓기로 결정을 내린 자들을 '종/교적, 민족적으로 증오를 불러일으킨 혐의'로 처벌해야 한다고 말하면서, 모스크 건설 자체를 반대하지는 않으나, 정교회의 성지인 '거룩한 호수' 근처에 짓는 것은 반대한다고 밝힘.
