2023년 6월 6일 노바 카호바카 수력발전소 댐 폭파 이후 헤르손과 크리미아 지역에서 콜레라 전염병이 퍼지고 있다고 헤르손 주에서 활동하는 우크라이나 파르티잔 Atesh 측이 밝혔음.


우크라이나 보건부 차관 일호르 쿠진Ihor Kuzin도 노바 카호바카 댐 폭파 이후 러시아군 사이에서 콜레라 감염이 생길 수 있다고 말함. 댐 폭파 이후 드니프로 강에 오염 물질들이 유입돼서 급성 위장간염, 보툴리누스 중독 등을 일으킬 수 있다고 하네.
