현재 23형 호위함 HMS 웨스트민스터의 수명연장 사업이 중지되고 HMS 아르길이 퇴역함으로써 2척의 23형 호위함이 이번에 퇴역처리됨. 그외의 23형 호위함도 26형 호위함 영국 해군 인도전에 퇴역한다고 함.

거기에 알비온급 상륙함인 알비온과 불워크도 둘 다 퇴역 후 모스볼 처리된다고 함.

HMS Albion and HMS Bulwark (both LPDs) will be phased out as well because of the same issue. Not enough sailors to crew them...

And lets remember that this is after British Army shrinking to make more space for Navy and Air Force.

그리고 영국 공군의 유로파이터 30대의 개량도 중단함.

이 모든게 사람이 없어서 생긴일이고 영국 국방부는 인력 재배치를 고려하고 있다고 함.

뱀발 : 영국이 해군과 공군에 돈 많이 쓰는 섬나라라는걸 생각해보면 이건 진짜 위험한 일임. 인원이 상시 부족한 섬나라인 일본도 모가미급에 78명 태우는거 생각하면 영국 해군도 자동화 적극적으로 해야할듯.
