흑인병사 총기 검수하는 장면이 거의 퍼팩트한 수준이네. 대책없이 자유로운 나라같으면서도 군인들이나 조국을 위해 싸우다 전사한 군인들에 대한 예우들을 보면 이게 천조국 미국을 아직까지 유지시켜주는거 아닌가 싶다.

Recently had honor guard out of Whiteman AFB perform a ceremony for my father's burial. It was just about like this, VERY ceremonious. The meticulousness of folding the flag was amazing. When they handed me the flag, it was incredibly moving and brought tears to my eyes. The amount of practice these men and women put into their service to this great country is commendable.

Such a honor to be a guard at the tomb of the unknown soldier memorial, was fortunate to be able to see this for myself and I must say it's truly amazing. The dedication, sacrifice, honor and work these men and women put in to being absolutely PERFECT!

I grew up Army and joined myself. What most civilians don’t know is that to be on the honor guard you have to follow strict rules. No mustache, smoking, or drinking…even when not on duty. This inspection happens at the beginning of each duty and you do not want to fail it. My late brother in law was on Kennedy’s honor guard. Respect to all who have served. We will forever be brothers and sisters in arms.

This reminds me of our dad's funeral eight years ago. He was a WW2 navy vet. While entering the veterans branch of Arlington cemetary in Elburn, il. (Lincoln Memorial cemetary) he was saluted by an honor guard of the four branches of the military. And they were there to honor another vet at a different funeral and they saluted our dad. I, at that moment, have never been more proud of our dad.

I’ve seen this dozens of times in person. I still choke up. This is a lifetime honor to be on the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier Honor Guard.
