우리는 민주주의와 법치주의, 보편적 정의와 도덕적 규범을 통해 살아가고 있음
그리고 우리는 그 가치들을 지키기 위해 중국, 북한, 하마스, 헤즈볼라와 같이 폭력적이고 비도덕적인 적들에 맞서 싸우고있음

그런데 때로 그들에 맞서기 어려운 순간에 우리는 그 가치를 지키기 위한 지름길을 찾으며, 모순적으로 그 가치를 배반하기도 함
그 길은 편하고 안전하지만 본질적으로 목적을 상실한 길임

그런 식으로 적과 불의를 이겨내고 나면 꼰대를 혐오하던 젊은이가 나이가 들면 결국 꼰대가 되는 것마냥 결국 우리가 그 다음의 불의가 되어있을 뿐임

그래서 그런 모든 순간에 옳음과 옳지 않음에서 타협하면 안됨
민주국가를 지키기 위해 민주주의를 훼손하거나, 법치국가를 지키기 위해 법치주의를 망가트린다면 그게 무슨 의미임
