타이가 생존기 (1980년대 소련군 썰)

 

Hi, this is a mini story that i decided to post before going to sleep (sorry for my not best english level) So, this is not my story(my dads) ,so my dad has served in the ussr army somewhere in the 80's and he got sent with the other soldiers to a training(military exercise id say) i have no idea what happened but he somehow got abandoned in taiga , he told me that they forgot him there.

안녕, 이건 자러가기 전에 올리는 매우 짧은 이야기야. (영어가 별로라 미안) 이건 내 이야기는 아니고 내 아버지 이야기야. 우리 아버지는 1980년대에 소련 군대에서 복무하셨고, 훈련을 하기 위해 다른 병사들과 함께 어디론가로 보내졌어. 무슨 일이 있었는지는 모르겠지만, 아버지는 타이가에 혼자 남겨졌었대. 다들 아버지를 까먹었었다더군.

 

and before that happened there was a BTR that was driving on the road and then flipped into a lake, the crew survived but died because when they wanted to get warm they constructed a campfire and basically tried to lay on it so they got really cold and then burned alive(i guess)

그리고 이 일이 있기 전에, BTR(소련 병력수송장갑차)가 길을 달리다가 호수에 빠져버린 사건이 있었대. 승무원들은 살아남았지만, 추워서 불을 피웠는데 그 위에 누우려했다가 다시 추위에 떨다가 결국 불타죽었대.

(역자: 이게 도통 무슨 소린지 모르겠음. 댓글은 밀폐된 곳에서 일산화탄소 중독으로 죽었다는 뜻이 아닐까 추측함)

 

and so he was alone in the forest, it was a trailer with no food , the only weapon was a axe and to survive he had to lick snow(because it was the only safe water source) and hide from wolves in the trailer while pressing the axe to his body in case something happened, he got rescued 3 days later and had frozen arms so he went to rehabilitation and they gave him like a privilege to go to any college because he has served in the army (didnt accept because his parents were sick and he had to take care of them)

아무튼 그래서 아버지는 숲 속에서, 음식 없는 컨테이너 박스 같은 곳에 혼자 있었어. 유일한 무기는 도끼 하나였고, 살아남기 위해 눈을 핥았고(마실 수 있는 유일한 물), 늑대들을 피해 트레일러 속에 숨어있었대. 뭔일 있을까봐 도끼를 자기 몸에 꼭 붙이고 있으면서. 아버지는 3일 뒤에 구조되었고, 팔이 얼어서 재활 치료를 받아야했대. 그리고 군 복무에 대한 보상으로 어떤 대학이든 갈 수 있는 혜택을 받았지만 아픈 부모님을 돌봐야했기 때문에 가지 않으셨대.

 

also i will not ask him about this again because it was already hard for him to tell me this for the first time and this story doesnt have much details because all of this happened a long time ago (i wrote about the btr here because it was at the same exercise and he saw it with his eyes)

그리고 이 이야기에 대해서는 아버지께 다시 묻지 않을 생각이야, 왜냐하면 내게 처음 이 이야기를 해주는 것도 아버지한테 매우 힘든 일이었거든. 그리고 이야기가 너무 담백한 이유는 워낙 오래 전에 일어났던 일이라 양해 부탁할게. (BTR 사건은 같은 훈련때 일어난 사건이라 넣었어. 아버지가 직접 목격하셨대)
