UEFA banned a minute of silence before the Euro 2026 futsal qualifying match between Ukraine and Romania, but it still took place.

The Ukrainians appealed directly to the Romanians. Instead of holding a minute of silence before the game, they agreed to do it directly during the match — after the opponent's ball was drawn from the center of the field. Both teams together honored the memory of the dead.

UEFA는 우크라이나와 루마니아의 유로 2026 풋살 예선전에 앞서 정치적 이유로 1분간 묵념을 금지했지만 1분간 묵념은 여전히 진행됐다.

우크라이나인 선수들은 루마니아인 선수들에게 직접 호소했다. 경기 전에 1분간 묵념을 할 수 없으니, 경기 중에 직접 하기로 합의한 것.

두 팀은 함께 죽은 사람들의 기억을 기렸다.
