도산안창호함, 하와이 진주만-히캄 기지 입항!
한국·캐나다 해군 연합협력훈련 참가를 위해 지난 3월 25일 진해군항을 출항했던 해군 3,000톤급 잠수함 1번함 '도산안창호함(SS-Ⅲ)'이 미국 괌을 거쳐 오늘(4일) 하와이 진주만-히캄 합동기지에 입항했습니다.
국내 최초로 독자 설계하고 건조된 도산안창호함은 이번 연합협력훈련을 통해 우리 3,000톤급 잠수함의 우수한 작전수행능력을 전 세계에 증명할 예정입니다.
ROKS Dosan Ahn Changho Arrives at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam in Hawaii!
The ROKS Dosan Ahn Changho (SS-III), the Republic of Korea Navy's first 3,000-ton class submarine, arrived today (May 4) at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam in Hawaii. The submarine departed from Chinhae Naval Base on March 25 and made a transit stop in Guam, USA, en route to participate in a combined naval exercise between South Korea and Canada.
As South Korea's first domestically designed and built submarine, the ROKS Dosan Ahn Changho aims to demonstrate the outstanding operational capabilities of the ROK Navy's 3,000-ton submarines to the world through this combined exercise.
